- Clamps and Gaskets is a weekly wrap-up of stories not posted at Yours For Good Fermentables.com. Most deal with beer (or wine, or whisky); some do not. But all are brief, and many are re-posts from my Twitter account: twitter.com/cizauskas.
- The Clamps and Gaskets graphic was created by Mike Licht at NotionsCapital.
Something you can/will appreciate: I was at my hometown beer festival this past weekend. Not a beery town (small, rural, college), I struggle when I go home to find any selection (we just drink a lot of Yuengling there). At this beer/food fundraiser, there was one brewpub that brought cask-conditioned ale, and another who brought a portable handpump. Great surprise. I will definitely get to their places (even though it is a bit of a drive) just because of their effort.
ReplyDeleteGreat story, Jay. We'll get the word out one cask at a time. What's the name of the brewpub?
ReplyDeleteFYI, bad link: President Obama asks for beer. Maine craft-beer industry responds. http://bit.ly/aWoVt
ReplyDeleteCorrected. Thanks!
